Payroll Accountant with English and Russian

We are looking for a talented Payroll Accountant with fluency in English and Russian to join our international team. Our company provides accounting services for global operations with a focus on shared services, with a growing team in Prague and across Europe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing prepaid benefits accounting and processing rent prepaid cards in SAP
• Preparing accommodation cash calls and coordinating TAP for accommodation allowances
• Reviewing cost sheets and supporting documentation
• Communicating with employees regarding accommodation costs and compensation
• Monitoring security deposit returns and deductions
• Maintaining the accommodation master file and managing children's education prepaid cards in SAP
• Participating in local audits and supporting bank transaction accounting in SAP
• Preparing payroll cash calls and overseeing cash balance controls
• Coordinating with banks across various jurisdictions (Russia, UAE, Uzbekistan)
• Contributing to projects and process improvements within the company
• Handling ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by management

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 2+ years of experience in payroll accounting
• Strong understanding of payroll, HR management, and related labor legislation
• Accounting education or proven knowledge in the field
• Proficiency in SAP HR, SAP R3, and MS Excel
• Familiarity with online banking systems and payroll software
• Fluency in both English and Russian
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Cross-cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse teams
• Problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to tasks
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive and able to make decisions within the scope of the role
• Reliable and collaborative team player
